Birthday Card 4 Natalie

After receiving such a beautiful card I knew, I had my work cut out for me.  This is what I found on Pinterest.  It was just the right inspiration to make this card for Natalie.  Hope you like it!




Details for making this card:

Card Base 5x7 in White Daisy
Using the For Always Paper pack cut the following pieces
Black pattern paper 4-1/4 x 6-1/2

Using the Artiste cartridge cut the following pieces:
Skirt: 1=3"accent 4.p.35, 1=3-1/2"accent 4 .p.35
Body: 1=5" accent 1 p.41(cashmere cardstock)
Bodice (top):  1=5" accent 2 p.41 (White Daisy pattern paper), cut bottom part of dress.

Embellishments:
Opaques Pearl Flourishes
Opaques Pearl
Black and Grey Sparkles
Shimmer Trim (on the inside edge of the card)
Black Tulle Ribbon for the skirt
Keyboard Kraft Alphabets

Left Page

1. Substitute Blush for Hollyhock cardstock;
2. Using the direct to stamp pad technique ink distress all paper and cardstock pieces with Champagne;
3. Random stamp flower image in three generation on Title piece;
4. Stamp border image with Cranberry ink along J,B and accent 9 pieces;

Right Page 

1. Stamp small heart using Champagne ink on piece F;
2. Random stamp flower image in three generation on piece D;
3. Using the masking technique or a dauber, daub small in Hollyhock and So Cool in Outdoor Denim;
4. Add Pewter Designer Brads and Artisan Studs

Assembling details:
  1. Use diagrams on pages 36-37 - Magic™ ; 
  2. Use Champagne cardstock for your bases; 
  3. Stamp the small heart background image around the base of both pages using Champagne ink; 
  4. Ink distress all pieces and photos, (expect for the Hollyhock cardstock pieces) using Cashmere; 
  5. Edge distress the Hollyhock pieces; 
  6. Assemble layout according to pattern in Imagine on page 37; 
  7. Layer two buttons, attach with White Hemp, fraying ends, adhere to pages; 
  8. Add Artisan Studs.

1. Use the polka dot pattern paper for your bases;

(Option: you can use the Chevron pattern (reverse of paper shown above). Substitute Outdoor Door cardstock for Sunset). 

2. Ink distress all pieces (expect for the Outdoor Denim pieces) using Cashmere;
3. Sand distress Outdoor Denim pieces.

1. Use Cashmere cardstock for your base pages;
2.  Ink distress all pieces (except for the Champagne pieces) using Desert Sand;
3. Edge distress with distresser the Champagne pieces;
4. Using the Girls Rock stamp set, stamp a variety of flowers using Sunset, Hollyhock and Blush.
