Triple Layered Card

I saw these cards on-line just go to "Google Image" and type: "triple layered cards". You'll see lots of ideas.

You will need to cut the following pieces:

Base (Colonial White) Layers: (one each)

a) 4-1/2" x 5-1/2"
b) 3-1/4" x 4-1/2"
c) 2-1/4" x 3-1/2"

Base Colour (Olive) Layers: (one each)

a) 4" x 5-1/4"
b) 3" x 4-1/4"
c) 2" x 3-1/4"

Step 1~ Layering
  • layer your Colonial White pieces with removable adhesive
Step 2 ~ Stamping
  •  start with the lightest colour.  Stamping randomly and off the corners.
  • stamp your second image with a medium colour, fill the blank spaces
  • stamp you largest and darkest image
  • add sentiment
Step 3 ~ Matting
  • separate your stamped pieces
  • mat each one with a colour base
Step ~ Embellishment
  • before adhering your first mat add a piece of twine rolling it two to three time
  • add button or brad
  • when layering match up your images.

Stella Workshop on to Go ~ Hostess Club

If you’re like me, the first time you saw the Spring/Summer Idea Book you just had to get this beautiful paper pack.  This is what I did with the workshop on the go kit.
2012 04 14_1576_edited-1
Modifications to the original layout:
  • changed the Cocoa base pages to B&T Duos
  • used the decorative border instead of stamping the chair image
  • double matted all photos with Cocoa and Lagoon cardstock
  • added the Stella Complements Canvas Shapes
2012 04 14_1578_edited-1
Modifications to the original layout:
  • added the Stella Complements Canvas Shapes
  • inked the DE heart instead of covering them with cardstock
  • changed the middle piece B&T Duos
2012 04 14_1574_edited-1
By changing the base pages from the first layout I was able to use them for the one.

When I came across this sentiment I knew exactly which photo to use.  “ The best things in life are UNSEEN that’s why we close your eyes when we KISS!”

February 2012 ~ WOTG ~ Hostess Club

This is my take on the Cruisin’ workshop on to go, using the “Take a Picture” stamp set C1440 and re-formatting the photos this is what I came up with.
2012 02 20_1444_edited-1
Opaque gems were added to the decorative border to cover the road signs and arrows.  The photos on the left page were also re-sized.  Don’t let the existing layout limit your imagination, let your creativity run free.
2012 02 20_1446_edited-1
This second layout is a combination of the artwork featured in the Spring/Summer Idea book. Look for them on pages 59 and 112.  I used the Tapestry Velvet Rub-Ons….. LOVE THEM!!!!
